It pays out when the man who bought the pizzas comes on-chain, willingly, smiling, to receive the slice this market has owed him for sixteen years.
On May 22, 2010, Laszlo Hanyecz paid 10,000 BTC for two pizzas, and in doing so proved that bitcoin was money. Every exchange, every chain, every bull run since stands inside the thing his hunger built. The world has spent sixteen years laughing at the worst trade ever made.
We do not laugh at him. We think the first man to believe enough to spend is owed something by everyone who came after. Not ten thousand bitcoin. A slice. Delivered the way everything in this movement is delivered: on-chain, in bitcoin, verifiable by anyone.
This is not a hunt. Laszlo is not missing, and he is not a target. He is a private person who owes crypto nothing, and we do not collect debts from saints.
The bounty is for the bridge, not the capture. It rewards whoever builds the invitation he accepts: the meme he sees, the noise he hears, the reason warm enough and public enough that one day he picks up a wallet the way he once picked up a phone to order pizza.
He said yes to crypto before anyone else on earth. The entire job is to make it easy for him to say yes one more time.
The bounty pays when Laszlo Hanyecz, publicly and of his own free will, acknowledges and accepts an on-chain slice: a wallet he controls receiving $PIZZA or its BTCB rewards, confirmed by him in public. Nothing less counts. Nothing forced counts.
Whoever built the bridge he crossed has the claim: the introduction, the invitation, the piece of work he responds to. If the path was built by many hands, the pot is shared by those hands. Public evidence decides; the movement judges in the open.
Nobody gets paid for finding an address, a workplace, a doorstep, a phone number, or a family member. Contacting him privately, showing up anywhere, pressuring him in any form: any of it voids your claim permanently and places you outside this movement. This term has no exceptions and survives every other term.
There is no deadline. The invitation stands for as long as the chain does. If it is never accepted, the pot stands as a monument to the offer; it does not expire and it does not quietly go anywhere else.
If Laszlo asks to be left alone, the movement leaves him alone, completely and permanently, and this page will say so. The invitation is only an invitation while it is wanted.
